Image
Qualcomm is Apples number 1 contender in the phone chipset department. Why? They release cutting edge technology ,making phones faster, while reducing the heat generated from running the phones for too long. Now,Qualcomm is set to announce its latest chipset in just a few days at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) kicking off on January 5th, but some slides from the presentation have already made their way to the Internet through a leak. A chipset built for Qualcomm by Samsung using the 10nm process, Snapdragon 835 looks like a lot of improvement over its predecessor, promising 27% improved performance over the Snapdragon 820 chip. According to the leak, this new chipset will use less power. It is actually said to use just half the power consumed by Snapdragon 801, giving devices a much improved battery life.Apparently, and hopefully too, this will help Android devices trump Apple's and finally make their way to that savoury number one spot in the AnTuTu benchmark list of fast phon

BLACKBERRY KEYone SPECS AND FEATURES

Image
Remember what I said about Blackberry being dead? Well, take that thought, put it in a plastic bag,zip and staple the bag,and throw it into oblivion. This new BB device looks awesome and will definitely beat the crap out of whatever Tecno is trying to release . This phone somehow manages to fit a premium looking build and the all Blackberry trademarked QWERTY keyboard(fun fact: did you know that Qwert Yuiop is the inventor of the keyboard? Don't believe me? Grab your laptop, flip it open and check whose name is on the first row of letters.) into this awesome body. And best of all,it runs android. Take a peek: I like the fact that it has 2 front cameras. Not only Nokia was planning a big comeback. Blackberry KEYone features Blackberry’s traditional physical keyboard below the screen and runs Android OS, not Blackberry’s dead and forgotten software. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 2.0GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The 4.5-inch screen has a reso

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD PROBABLY HOST YOUR WEBSITE LOCALLY

More than 98% of Web hosting companies in Nigeria host their customer’s websites on servers overseas or resell the services of other foreign web hosting companies. They should not be mistaken for local Webhosting companies, as their servers are domiciled outside the country. Local Web Hosting, in a nutshell, means servers are resident locally in Nigeria and support is local. Here are some reasons why you should consider hosting locally: 1. SPEED Local hosting enables your website to run about 3 times faster than hosting overseas because of ultra low latency. It is vital for you to pinpoint your business’ needs before settling on a decision between hosting your website locally or overseas. Latency is better and faster when you host locally because local traffic is routed locally through the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria. 2. PRICING One of the drawbacks of hosting overseas in this current economic situation is due to the current devaluation of the Naira i.e. the ridiculous incr
