QUALLCOMM IS SET TO RELEASE THE SNAPDRAGON 835 CHIP

Qualcomm is Apples number 1 contender in the phone chipset department. Why? They release cutting edge technology ,making phones faster, while reducing the heat generated from running the phones for too long. Now,Qualcomm is set to announce its latest chipset in just a few days at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) kicking off on January 5th, but some slides from the presentation have already made their way to the Internet through a leak.
A chipset built for Qualcomm by Samsung using the 10nm process, Snapdragon 835 looks like a lot of improvement over its predecessor, promising 27% improved performance over the Snapdragon 820 chip. According to the leak, this new chipset will use less power. It is actually said to use just half the power consumed by Snapdragon 801, giving devices a much improved battery life.Apparently, and hopefully too, this will help Android devices trump Apple's and finally make their way to that savoury number one spot in the AnTuTu benchmark list of fast phones. This position has been held by Apple phones, but probably, phones running this chip Witt destroy that legacy. I hope.
Snapdragon 835 features an X16 LTE modem which makes it the first to have gigabit-class LTE modem. It also has Kryo 280 cores. With Qualcomm Haven Security, Snapdragon 835 is going to to have full support for malware detection and secure biometric authentication.
The SoC will ship with Adreno 540 GPU which has 60 times more colors compared to other Snapdragon chips. Adreno 540 supports support 10-bit, 4K and 60fps video playbacks with OpenGL ES, Vulkan and DirectX 12 graphics. This chip has been said to be capable of running the desktop version of Windows 10 on mobile devices.
Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi 6 and LG G6 are some of the upcoming devices expected to sport this new processor later in the year.
