iPhone 8 Review For those of us who haven't read my iPhone 8 and 8+ unboxing post, kindly click this link  to read it. Leave a nice comment! Apple launched the iPhone 8, it's bigger sibling the iPhone 8+,and their totally bezel-less and button less eldest(and most expensive) brother, the iPhone X just a couple of days ago(they were launched on September 13th),to much press attention. These were the '10th anniversary iPhones' anyway,so they did deserve all the attention. Though,to be sincere, the iPhone X really deserves all the glamour. It takes away the shine of its brothers with the mere fact of being almost totally bezel less, but for the tiny bezels on each side of the screen, and on the top and bottom. It really is amazing. And Apple, after removing the essential parts of a phone little by little(the headphone jack, wireless charging...),they finally decided it was time to throw the iconic home button that has graced all the iPhone and iPads ever made out

How to add wireless charging to any phone

Wireless charging has been around for a while now,and many phone manufacturers(including Apple,of late) use it in their phones as a USP to the phone. But sadly, this kind of tech doesn't usually make it to the low end segment of the market. But in this post,I'll show you how to add wireless charging to any phone(except feature phones). Before we dive in,we need to gain a proper understanding of what wireless charging is. Also known as 'Inductive Charging',is a type of charging which uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects through electromagnetic induction. In other words, the wireless charging pad and compatible phone need to be in contact with each other for it to work. It makes use of an inductor coil within the wireless charging pad to create an electromagnetic field, and another coil in the device takes the power from the electromagnetic field and converts it to electric current, which then charges the phone. Now that we know what wirele

Okay,as promised in my iPhone X post,I have the iPhone 8 and 8+ phones here with me in the studio! The iPhone 8 and 8+ look really identical to the 7 and 7+ from last year(they're really just 7s's ) and they go right down to dimensions. Yup,all your iPhone 7 and 7+ cases would fit quite snugly in these phones.  Okay, setting aside the side talk, let's jump straight in!(I got the white for the 8 and Soft gold for the 8+) GENERAL DESIGN Both iphones come on boxes packed practically the same way. You've got paperwork once you open the box,and right under the paper is the phone, then the accessories. Its really minimalistic. Paperwork first The main difference between the 8 and 7 is that the 8's back is made out of glass. This gives it more weight as glass is a heavier material than metal(though more premium) The Apple logo engravement can now be felt as opposed to the iPhone 7's idea of letting it blend in with the back. This really doesn&#

Predecessor and successor face off (Big thanks to our bosses,Big Tycoon™ for helping us get one. Grateful is an under statement!) The iPhone X was released some days ago. The reason I haven't been posting lately is because I have been working my ASS of to get a copy for you guys. Now I have one,so let's get to this immediately. The iPhone X is nothing like what Apple has ever done before. Apple has finally added wireless charging, and there's an infinity display now. Apple calls the resolution "Super Retina", and it is really cool. It now has deep blacks, and super bright colors. The processor is faster, cameras are better, but there's no Touch ID. In  it's place is a 3D facial recognition which,at the launch failed once. If you didn't watch the launch, and you're an Apple fanboy,<tsk> Okay, there's also no home button. Infinity close up The home button has taken a leave ,though it's still available on the iPhone 8 a
