iPhone 8 and 8+ Unboxing!

Okay,as promised in my iPhone X post,I have the iPhone 8 and 8+ phones here with me in the studio! The iPhone 8 and 8+ look really identical to the 7 and 7+ from last year(they're really just 7s's ) and they go right down to dimensions. Yup,all your iPhone 7 and 7+ cases would fit quite snugly in these phones.
Okay, setting aside the side talk, let's jump straight in!(I got the white for the 8 and Soft gold for the 8+)

GENERAL DESIGN
Both iphones come on boxes packed practically the same way. You've got paperwork once you open the box,and right under the paper is the phone, then the accessories. Its really minimalistic.
Paperwork first

The main difference between the 8 and 7 is that the 8's back is made out of glass. This gives it more weight as glass is a heavier material than metal(though more premium)
The Apple logo engravement can now be felt as opposed to the iPhone 7's idea of letting it blend in with the back. This really doesn't affect quality in any way,I just wanted to point it out.
CAMERA PLACEMENT AND BENCHMARKS
Any loyal Apple fanboy would guess this,as the iPhone's rear and front camera placement has been the same for decades.(Um,a decade actually,as these, along with the iPhone X ,are 10th Anniversary phones). So,for those who can't interpret pictures,it's located at the top right for the rear camera. The 8+ has dual cameras, with a resolution of 12MP for both cameras. The 8 also has this resolution.
Exact dimensions to the letter

The front camera is also where it usually is. No questions asked.
Needless to say,if you're looking for bezels, you can find more than enough on these two phones. They are not bezelless in ANY way,and they carry on with typicaliPhone culture. Meh.
BOOTING AND OTHERS
Upon booting and general iOS 11 setup, you are required to turn on a 'true tone display' ,or leave it off. I guess this is a new feature, but I really don't see the difference between a regular display and that one.

BENCHMARK AGAINST THE GALAXY NOTE 8
I have a Note 8 here,so I thought 'why not?'
The A11 Bionic chip is really a literal beast in day to day performance, besting the SD835 chip in single core performance. It also has 3GB of RAM,which has proven more than enough due to very high level of optimizations all around the OS.

Lastly...
This new iPhone may be a beast in general use,but its also a beast in pricing, eating a whopping £900 out of your wallet. Let's not get started on the price in Naira. It'd be nest to stick with your iPhone 7 if you've got one,as it has all the speed you'll ever need. And,if you've got a pretty penny to spend on new tech,go for this one. You'll definitely not regret it.
Thanks for stopping by,and as always, comments are appreciated.
