Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge

This is probably an unfair comparison, because in design, the edge takes the cake. It's much more beautiful, sexier and has more curves. But that is the title of the post,so let's get to it.
The S7 edge obviously inherits its name from the curved edged glass on either side of the display. This is cool and really adds to the overall look of the device. Samsung developed special software for it,and a single swipe can bring out an edge screen, where you keep your contacts, games, etc. Needless to say,the S7 has NO curves on either side of the screen,so this probably let's down its design in comparison to its elder brother. Just picture their comparison as comparing a sexy 4K TV to a modest looking 1080p TV. The FHD TV gets the job done, but the 4k TV gets the job done, and still looks good while doing it.
Similar box design

As seen above, their boxes are very similar. I hate keeping phone boxes, but because these are so costly:),I had to keep them. They may look similar in boxing,but...

Take them out of their similar boxes and you get two dissimilarly designed phones. They both have the same specs, same QHD screen and although the S7 edge has a meatier 3600mAh battery,it still lasts as long as the more user friendly S7. Why? IDK.
The S7 and S7 edge are almost the same. But if you don't have an edge screen, you don't have an edge screen and nothing can be done about it. No software update can magically mould and curve the glass on the edges if your screen . None. And with the S7 edge existing, the S7 has no reason to be alive, based in design. But place design aside, and these two can have a fair fight.
Not much to differentiate here. I thought it would be fun. And it is. Moving on.
Since the screen of the S7 is slightly smaller(at 5.1 inches vs 5.5 inches)it can only pack a 3000mAh battery as opposed to the 3600mAh battery in the S7 edge. But surprisingly, they both run for the same amount of time. 6 hrs SOT was the standard, and I'm happy, because these things have QHD screens.
If you don't have an edge, you don't have an edge. Period.
That said, you can get any of these devices and live without regret. Although I advise the S7 edge because of its edge over the S7(hah! Do you grab?)
I can't stop loving that edge
