OnePlus 3 Overview

Please do note that this is not the full review. That is coming soon.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the star of the show, the OnePlus 3. This is a phone which gives you literally all the current flagship specs for a fraction of flagship prices. The OnePlus 3 has
-a 5.5" 1080p display
-Snapdragon 821 chip
-Adreno 530 graphics
-6 GB of RAM(which is a total overkill)
-64GB internal flash storage that isn't expandable
-7.3mm thin body
-3000mAh battery
-just $300(150000 naira)
These are literally the same specs as the Galaxy S7 which costs $750(375000 naira) so...

Build
The phone's build is too simple for my liking. No modularity. No curved edges. Just a 7.3mm thin frame with a little camera bump and a flash at the back, and then a home key/fingerprint sensor,
Fingerprint sensor is in the home button

front camera,5.5" screen,notification LED

and dazzol. Very simple, not too elegant,buuutttt...
It's bottom looks a lot like that of the iPhone 6s. Can you gusee which is which?
The design pays attention to the key areas and tries not to get in the way. This is the case with OnePlus. If you feel you need a feature, turn it on. Otherwise, you leave it off. Period.
The design will definitely turn heads, but not as much as say the Galaxy S8 or even S7 edge. But it is a good design.
The alert slider also makes it's return, just like iPhone. Everyone seems to take cues from iPhone these days(even the Google Pixel looks a lot like an iPhone)

Display
The phone has a 5.5" OLED display with a 1080×1920 resolution and ~403ppi. This is a great display with succulent blacks, almost to infinity level.  The only IPS screen which I have seen that gets close to this is that on the Infinix HOT S. We have done the review,so you can search it with the search bar up above. Just take a look at the shot:
Almost infinity black, just like the OnePlus. Great Infini,x. Still waiting on that update...>P
Almost Infinity black. Back to the OnePlus.
The phone does have a great display, but after reviewing the S8 and then seeing this,I start to wonder. It's not that the display is bad. It's just that it can't match the S7's or Note 7's display.

The display does get plenty bright, and maxes out at 500 nits max. brightness, which is good for outdoor usability.

Camera
16MP is no joke. Not at all. And the one here nails it right in the bullseye. But that is not the star of the show. If you're following me on Instagram(@x_Okafor_x),you would have seen a selfie of me and my friend. That was taken with the OnePlus 3. Notice the quality and saturation, though the rear window was blown out. For those of you who haven't seen it,here it is
The HOT S took a picture really close to that(you really can't tell the difference unless you're a techy) and that is interesting because that one costs half as much as this guy. Don't take my word for it,here it is
That doesn't mean the rear camera is any bad though. It takes wonderful and sharp shots, and leaves almost no room for complaint

Performance
It performs excellently. SD821 chip,Adreno 530,6GB RAM and a 1080p screen are a great combination. Performance is fast,snappy,fluid and 6GB of RAM,so

It does score very high in geekbench(1560 SC and 5130 MC) and Antutu(I read it scored 150000+,but for some reason ,my own Antutu kept giving me 50000,and that is not possible with SD821,so take their word for it.) and everyday performance is awesome, with no lag in sight. Pretty solid for the price.

Battery
3000mAh +1080p screen=not so great performance. Battery life was constant, but that was at 4hrs SOT and its dead(note that the brightness was at maximum all through). But it does have dash charge, which is essentially a charger that pumps in 4A of current unlike regular phones  with 1.5A or 2A.
It gives a charge from 0 to 60 in 30 minutes, and a full charge takes 1.3 hrs. So great.

Wrap Up
Great all around phone, stockish Android software, great build, the list goes on. It's a great buy here in Nigeria and anywhere else it appears. Buy this phone I'd you want performance to die for,and don't want to biy another phone in a couple of years(say 2 years). Just buy it and thank me later.

There are a couple of cases you can slap on the back:
Or a skin
