NOKIA HAS COME TO TAKE OVER!

Image
Imagine this. You own a phone store packed with top tier phones(I won't mention names) and a few low end ones ,and you're ready for big sales on the top tiers, but only the low end ones sell off. Yes,long boring scenerio ,but that's exactly what happened with the 3310. According to Carphone Warehouse —the only retailer to start taking pre-orders for the phone— the Nokia 3310 has seen 10 times more pre-registration interest than top-of-the-range smartphones from the likes of LG and Sony. Maybe its because it's cheap. Maybe people want to help Nokia come back. All I can say is"sorry other brands,Nokia is here to stay."However, despite this impressive stat, some analysts believe that HMD Global should focus on other Nokia-branded smartphones so they can stay in the game for longer, bear in mind that HMD only has a ten-year licensing deal for manufacturing Nokia devices. PLAYAS!MEET THE PS4.5

Image
I know what it took me to get a PS4 out of my mom. She just wouldn't budge about my love for video games. But I have my ways😎 Anyway I want you to meet the PS4.5 GiantBomb via IGN claim that the new PS4.5 which is codenamed NEO will come with a higher clock speed, GPU, and memory bandwidth. It would also support 4k image output. However, when compared to the PS4, the changes aren’t so huge. For example, NEO will still have the same 8 Jaguar Cores, just clocked higher at 2.1 GHz than the original PS4’s 1.6 GHz. RAM will still be at 8 GB DDR5, but with faster 218 GB/s data rates. The only major improvement is with the GPU which doubles from 18 to 36 and is also clocked higher at 911 MHz versus the 800 MHz of the PS4. Unfortunately for VR lovers, there's no VR support. Check out the full specs below: Original PS4 CPU – 8 Jaguar Cores at 1.6 GHz NEO CPU – 8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz Original PS4 GPU – AMD GCN, 18 CUs at 800 MHz NEO GPU – Improved AMD GCN, 36 CUs at

OH IPHONE 8! DON'T LET THE HOME BUTTON GO HOME!

Image
You all know how I have been seriously following the Galaxy S8 news, rumors, etc(for the first time in my life,I watched a RUMOR  video . Well, here's what I have concerning that loveable home button. The home button has been on the iPhone since like forever. If you have used an iPhone before, you can testify that no matter how lost you are in your phone, you are rest assured because there is a button that can always take you back ….home.Home to your home page, etc. Plus, its soooooo clicky! However, rumor has it that Apple is considering making the home button on the iPhone obsolete, this rumor is based on a report in DigiTimes , they claimed that Apple is working on its own touch-screen designs that will incorporate the home button onto the screen rather than as a separate button, this would allow the iPhones have screens that go almost wall the way to the bottom of the phone. The chip needed to do this is called a TDDI chip (touch and display driver integration). To support the

REAR MOUNTED FINGERPRINT SENSORS AND FRONT FACING FINGERPRINT SENSORS:WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?

Image
There has been this huge debate on many tech blogs that the front facing fingerprint sensors trump the rear mounted ones in terms of use. Well, since I can't possibly come up with an accurate answer,I'll be giving the pros and cons of each one,so you can decide for yourself. Here goes: Photo credit:android central.com FRONT MOUNTED FINGERPRINT SENSORS PROS: Front facing physical button with embedded FINGERPRINT sensor on the Galaxy S6 edge+. Have you ever had that experience where your phone is lying flat on your desk, the fingerprint sensor behind, and you want to unlock your phone, but not take it off the desk? The front facing sensor helps here,as you can simply touch it and gain access to your phone. 2. PRESS OPTION: These types of sensors allow you to press your fingers on them for more detailed scanning. CONS 1. No added features like camera shutter, browse through pics as seen on t

MORE ON THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S8

Image
I've been following the S8 avidly, and I'm vetting close to writing my own specs list and comparing it when its finally released.Samsung Galaxy S7 is still very much Samsung's best device so far and Galaxy S8 may not be launched until next year. This simple fact has not been able to stop the first wave of rumors about the upcoming device hitting the internet. Samsung Galaxy S8 has been rumored to feature a 4k display which some might see as an overkill(to me,it is) And just like the iPhone 7 Plus, this device will likely feature a dual-camera setup. This will definitely boost the phone's camera pics as you'd be able to get that bokeh effect in your pics, without having to use a third party app. Here's a picture of the phone(note:its only a concept) Okay,so a 4k display sounds like an overkill right? Well,in this new tech age,it's not. Here's why:need for 4k display Samsung Gear VR shows how serious Samsung takes virtual reality. Samsung Galaxy S7 has
