REAR MOUNTED FINGERPRINT SENSORS AND FRONT FACING FINGERPRINT SENSORS:WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?

There has been this huge debate on many tech blogs that the front facing fingerprint sensors trump the rear mounted ones in terms of use. Well, since I can't possibly come up with an accurate answer,I'll be giving the pros and cons of each one,so you can decide for yourself. Here goes:

1. Have you ever had that experience where your phone is lying flat on your desk, the fingerprint sensor behind, and you want to unlock your phone, but not take it off the desk? The front facing sensor helps here,as you can simply touch it and gain access to your phone.
2. PRESS OPTION: These types of sensors allow you to press your fingers on them for more detailed scanning.
CONS
1. No added features like camera shutter, browse through pics as seen on the Hot S fingerprint sensor which is rear mounted.
2. That annoying fact that you have to reach all the way to the bottom of your phone just to unlock it f you accidentally locked it,especially if your phone has a large screen.
3. It needs a home buttonv for it to be in the front, and I really dingt like other home buttons except Samsung's and Apple's.

1. It is where your finger naturally falls when you pick up your phone, which means that split second which you use to touch the home button is saved.
2. The phone looks more appealing, ass the presence of a small circle or square(haven't seen any triangles) after your camera gives a good feeling.
3. Added functionality like the ability to take pics with your print, browse through photos, answer a call, change music, etc. These options are very much appreciated.
CONS
1. Why must you pick up your phone all the time? This is the first con in a question format.
2. I think number 1 is all.
Anyway, these are my thoughts. I really want to see yours. And thanks to the readers who have been commenting since,I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
