Essential Phone 1 is the phone to die for.....finally

Image
I don’t know about you, but the back view of the Essential phone (That is the actual name) looks gorgeous AF! I mean, look at this: The Essential Phone is a product of Andy Rubin, the co-founder of Android, it features a near bezel-less display that wraps around the camera to maximize the screen-to-body-ratio. It has always been my dream to sew a phone with the camera and screen in cohesion. If I ever get to test this phone(I do PRAY I have the chance) I will let you know the complete details. Trust me. screen-to-body-ratio. As for the build, it uses a combination of titanium and ceramic to further add to the beauty and durability of the device. On the specs side of things, you have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU, 4 GB of RAM, Android 7.1 and 128 GB of internal storage space. The display is 5.71-inches, with a 19:10 aspect ratio and 2560 x 1312 pixel resolution with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There’s an 8 MP front-facing camera with f/2.2

OnePlus 3 Overview

Image
Please do note that this is not the full review. That is coming soon. Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the star of the show, the OnePlus 3. This is a phone which gives you literally all the current flagship specs for a fraction of flagship prices. The OnePlus 3 has -a 5.5" 1080p display -Snapdragon 821 chip -Adreno 530 graphics -6 GB of RAM(which is a total overkill) -64GB internal flash storage that isn't expandable -7.3mm thin body -3000mAh battery -just $300(150000 naira) These are literally the same specs as the Galaxy S7 which costs $750(375000 naira) so... Build The phone's build is too simple for my liking. No modularity. No curved edges. Just a 7.3mm thin frame with a little camera bump and a flash at the back, and then a home key/fingerprint sensor, Fingerprint sensor is in the home button front camera,5.5" screen, notification LED and dazzol. Very simple, not too elegant,buuutttt... It's bottom looks a lot

Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge

Image
This is probably an unfair comparison, because in design, the edge takes the cake. It's much more beautiful, sexier and has more curves. But that is the title of the post,so let's get to it. The S7 edge obviously inherits its name from the curved edged glass on either side of the display. This is cool and really adds to the overall look of the device. Samsung developed special software for it,and a single swipe can bring out an edge screen, where you keep your contacts, games, etc. Needless to say,the S7 has NO curves on either side of the screen,so this probably let's down its design in comparison to its elder brother. Just picture their comparison as comparing a sexy 4K TV to a modest looking 1080p TV. The FHD TV gets the job done, but the 4k TV gets the job done, and still looks good while doing it. Similar box design As seen above, their boxes are very similar. I hate keeping phone boxes, but because these are so costly:),I had to keep them. They may look similar in bo

BlackBerry keyONE Review

Image
Once you take a close look at the keyONE,you know that a BlackBerry never strays far from its route. From the soft backing material to the chamfered edges and aluminum frame, the adage "the apple never falls far from the tree" comes into play. It looks like the BlackBerry classic, only that this one has an 8MP selfie shooter, runs Android Nougat and yes,has a fingerprint sensor located in the space bar and has pulsating LEDs to tell you when you can use the sensor Like WTF?? BlackBerry (or is it RIM?) has finally decided that the DTEK engine is not enough security for your phone and although that thing was secure AF,it really needed a fingerprint sensor to seal the deal. This is still a BlackBerry in every way,but with some Android on the side. Well,a lot of Android on the side. Let's go into the full review now. DESIGN This is still a BlackBerry in every way,and this includes its design. You have the logo on the back; and the physical keyboard up front. The

INTRODUCING THE BLACKBERRY keyONE!

Image
If you can remember,I once posted about this phone being blackberry's comeback. Well, now that the phone is no longer a concept,I have it here now Just take a tour round it and tell me  what you think Notice a resemblance? Fingerprint senor in the space bar. 16MP cam

MOST UNDERRATED SMARTPHONES OF 2016

Image
Did you know that the HTC 10 has great specs? Yes of course. Did you know that the S8 has been released? Yes,definitely! How about the 10th anniversary iPhone? We probably are all just waiting for the specs to be told to us. But how about the Vivo V5+? No? You didn't hear of its release? Of course you didn't! Why? Cause here in Nigeria,we tend to put our focus(es) on the big boss brands rather than giving equal focus to all brands. In all my years of living,I have never seen anyone in Nigeria with an Elephone,or a Meizu phone, but these phones can easily cast the iPhone out of the water, both in design and software. Okay ,back to the matter. In no particular order, here are the most underrated smartphones of 2016. 1. Vivo V5+  Seriously, this phone has to be first on the list, because NO you have not heard of it. I saw a friend of mine with it,and couldn't help but ask of the brand. When he told me Vivo,I didn't believe cause I always thought Chinese phones w
