NFC SMART RING:TECHNOLOGY HAS ALMOST REACHED IT'S PEAK
When my brother first informed me about the NFC smart ring,I felt it was impossible to implement tech into an object as small as a ring. But once again, science has proven me wrong. The smart ting is a beautiful piece of technology, and when you hear what it has to offer, you'll be amazed at it's lightweight and other features.
As you can see in the images above, the NFC smart ring allows you to receive updates from your social media when on the go,without the need to pull out your smartphone. This inadvertently reduces the amount if smartphone theft as you don't have to bring out your phone in public. Here are the features of the ring:
USB CHARGING
The ring allows for micro-USB charging, which is awesome for a ring. But in my opinion, wireless charging would have been better,as USB charging adds to the overall bulkiness of the device. As seen in the picture above,it also has a touchscreen. Cool.
THE ABILITY TO LOCK AND UNLOCK YOUR NFC DOORS
Smart houses are becoming more and more popular, and this ring harnesses that technology. This ring can simultaneously open and lock an NFC . So your question is"what's an NFC door ". I'll explain. An NFC door is actually a regular door with an NFC chip included in its handle. The handle looks like this:
In the gif above,we can see a smart door owner unlocking his door with his NFC enabled door handle. But notice his smart ring attached to his finger. It's really cool what we can do with tech these days.
SHARE AND TRANSFER INFORMATION
The ring can also be used to share WiFi,information links to websites, links to pictures, contact info, etc. Just like that. You can also use the ring alongside an NFC enabled phone to start up apps, without using any app to do this. It also enables you to read messages without the sender knowing you have read them. It's awesome!
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
I can't tell when it'll be available in Nigeria, but when it is,if you have a smart house or are planning on getting one,get this ring as well. In the US,the price is about $150. That's one hell of a steal. I'll be updating thuis post if there's any news about Nigeria. Thank you for stopping by,and do have a lovely day.
