VIVIAN NGWODO DEVELOPS THE FIRST AFRO-CARIBBEAN FOOD APP

This is my first time posting anything related to food ,so chill if you don't get me. Meet Mrs Vivian Ngwodo,a Nigerian born British banker(she was a banker,but decided to go through the programming lane) who coded the first ever Afro-Caribbean food app.

She coded this app as a result of the increasing unavailability of Afro-Caribbean restaurants in the UK. The name of her app is "chop streets". According to her:“African and Caribbean cuisines have been under-represented for far too long and I am on a mission to make them famous by using technology to provide a platform for people to discover Afro-Caribbean cuisine easily and also set a standard for the Afro-Caribbean food industry in the U.K.”
So,chopstreets is a social app that gives you a map if Afro-Caribbean restaurants near you.


The app also gives you the freedom to recommend a restaurant to a friend. It was officially launched on the 30th of January,2017. You can get it on the play store here and for Apple users,the appstore link is here.
